8/17/09 only!
Join this live, in-person ASAE Annual Conference Session online. Presented by Rich Finstein, President of CommPartners, this session will demonstrate how associations can use "hybrid" events to increase attendance at traditionally traveled-to events.
Using hybrid webinar technology, member meetings, informational sessions, learning labs, and other types of interactive discussions can be extended to an online audience with great effectiveness.
Associations can capture potentially lost revenue, increase attendance and offer a wider reach to their members while keeping them engaged in the actual event at hand.
In this session you will learn not only how to deliver a hybrid event, including best practices, things to avoid and keys to success, but you will actually participate in one! This event will be a hybrid webinar, broadcast live to a select online audience who will have interactive opportunities to ask questions and respond online.
However, we are only able to host 40 virtual audience members! If you are attending the show, you can attend the session live at no charge (information will be in your show guide at the convention). If you are not attending the conference this year, here is your chance to actually "be there" anyway.
And, if you are not able to register, you can still follow this event live on Twitter.

Are these economic times causing you to see a decrease in attendance at your meetings? Learn to create a "hybrid" conference that will deliver your learning opportunities to your members' door. Through simultaneous onsite and virtual options, you'll be able to increase revenues and deliver more value to more members, for less. In this session you will see how using interactive technology and familiar presentation techniques, your online audience can share the same interactivity as your seated crowd, with Q & A, panel discussions, content interactivity and other ways of attending together in one seamless offering. Learn how one association increased paid attendance by 25% using a hybrid conference.
