More than two years later, our podcasts are still tremendously popular with members and nonmembers alike, and CommPartners remains a terrific partner on this program.

What are podcasts?

Podcasts are a special type of RSS news feed. Instead of web pages of news, a podcast lists MP3 sound files made available to users through the web, via subscription to MP3 player consoles. A bonus of using this type of delivery (just like RSS delivery for your e-newsletters) is avoiding email spam issues.

How do podcasts work?

CommPartners will produce and edit podcast MP3s for you. These can be audio segments of previously recorded Webinars or original programming, such as interviews with experts.

We’ll work together to create a series or individual files people can listen to on MP3 players or PCs/Macs.

When members/users subscribe to your podcast feed through the console (which we suggest branding with your logo) on your Web site, they receive alerts of new MP3s when they are added. These files can be automatically downloaded to subscribers' computers; when they synchronize their MP3 players, all new podcasts can be transferred to their devices.

To edit, publish, share and manage your podcasts, we recommend PodcastManager, CommPartners’ proprietary Web portal solution.
