As your organization considers creating Web-based educational programming, keep in mind: your identity and brand are not just online, they’re on the line.
In the current economy, webinars and other forms of sharing content in real time provide dynamic methods and cost effective ways to bring value to our communities. In contrast to other online educational tools, Web seminars and webcasts provide opportunities to interrelate with content experts in an interesting and collaborative way.
Organizations provide a natural setting to bring together geographically dispersed members, stakeholders and partners into a dynamic learning environment. The challenge is in recognizing that successful Webinars take substantial planning and an understanding of the unique interactive relationship between the faculty, hosts and attendees.
While many e-technologies such as pre-recorded Webcasts and Podcasts are primarily coordinated by IT departments, the creation of Webinar-based learning programs requires a multi-layered, five-step approach usually built by non-IT people. This includes understanding program objectives and creating presentations that make your session a unique learning experience.
Most of us have been exposed to both programs that are well planned and delivered, and those that fall short. So what makes a program successful?

CommPartners Solutions
Live Webinars are just part of the overall learning options you can and should be offering to stakeholders. Asynchronous (recorded) learning offers an ability to extend the value of your investment in quality live Webinar programming.
Anytime-learning via the Web can play an integral part in your organization’s accreditation process and/or continuing education program.
In addition to repurposing archived Webinars, CommPartners can work with you to create and produce video and audio segments. Video may be used as stand-alone ‘modules’ or integrated into live Web events. Audio segments are often converted into podcasts.

Content libraries
We can create an anytime-learning Web library of recorded synchronous/live Webinars. Your e-library will look like your organization’s Web site, for a seamless user experience. Features include:
- Secure Web login process
- Archives form auto-populates with user info and users' past views are marked
- Simple registration
- Survey option
- RSS feed
- Outlook calendar link
- Personalized with your branding
- e-Library hosting
Digital media | Content repurposing
- Flash Creation. For each live Webinar, CommPartners will create a master recording, from which we synchronize your slides, audio and video content and convert to Flash. Each Flash Webinar will be embedded into a custom-designed Web console.
- Podcasts. Podcasts enable you to offer subsections of Webinar audio, for download via your Web site. CommPartners performs the sound editing and MP3 file creation. It's easy to manage your audio library using your custom PodcastManager portal.
- CD Boxed Sets. CDs are a very high perceived value offering for your stakeholders. We'll synchronize slides and audio and create custom jewel-box artwork and a CD imprint, as well as direct distribution to those who enroll/purchase CDs from your online content library.
Audio-only CDs offer convenient playback in the car, on a portable disk player or on a computer. Again, we provide original CD case artwork and imprint, and mail distribution.
Testing and certificate generation
Key components of e-learning include validating attendee comprehension of content and a method to provide proof of attendance and ‘course’ completion.
Post-viewing, we can direct users to an assessment/quiz. Once completed, they will be presented with the course evaluation. After hitting the evaluation submit button, the system will generate a certificate of completion users may print or save as a file.
Registration/payment
CommPartners will include a program selection page within the public, on-demand learning site we create with your branding. We'll provide volume selection options, e-commerce checkout, handle registration questions and deliver instructions to participants.
On the backend, our private EventPortal administration site will enable you to view the real-time status of all purchases/enrollments.
On-demand learning advantages
- Affordable. Repurposing live Webinars for anytime-playback costs less than you may think.
- Profitable. Download sales of archived Webinars and digital media (CDs, podcasts) may provide your organization with a significant source of non-dues revenue each month.
- Resourceful. Creating online libraries of information is a great way to extend the shelf life of live Webinars, while offering a valuable service to members/users.
- Prestigious. Position your organization as the hub in your community for high-profile continuing education and accreditation programs.
