White-listing Emails Sent Using MagnetMail

Implementing the information below will help ensure your members/clients receive the emails you send using MagnetMail.

  1. Desktop-level: Have clients/members add your designated email addresses used for e-marketing (e.g., This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) to their safe sender lists.
  2. Server-level: If you are still having problems, then see below for directions on how to forward information to your e-mail administrator.

Directions to setup your email clients for desktop-level white-listing

Send your return email address to recipients who have desktop-level spam filtering. They will have to add your address and/or domain as a safe sender within their email program (Outlook, Hotmail, AOL, Juno, etc.).

AOL Subscribers:

  1. From your mailbox screen, select the drop down arrow to the right of Mail Options and then click on Address Book.
  2. Click the Add button (Add Contact for version 8.0).
  3. Type in or cut/paste the supplied return email address into the Screen Name block; click Save.

Hotmail Subscribers:

  1. Select the Options links in the upper right of the screen.
  2. Click on Junk Email Protection and click on Safe List.
  3. Type in or cut/paste the supplied return email address into the the box; click Add.

Yahoo Subscribers:

  1. From your mailbox screen, click on the drop down arrow to the right of the Addresses.
  2. Select Add Contact.
  3. Type in or cut/paste the supplied return email address into the the Email box; click Save.

MSN Subscribers:

MSN 8

  1. Click on Email settings and s elect the Junk Mail link.
  2. Click on Safe List and choose Add an item to this list.
  3. Type in or cut/paste the supplied return email address into the the Safe List box; click Add.

MSN 9

  1. Click on Settings: Email / Junk e-mail.
  2. Choose the Junk Email Guard link and select Safe List.
  3. Type in or cut/paste the supplied return email address into the Safe List box; click Add.

Juno/Netzero Subscribers:

  1. From your mailbox screen, click on the Address Book tab.
  2. Next to the Lists tab, click the Add New Contact link.
  3. Type in or cut/paste the supplied return email address into the Email Address block; click Save.

Earthlink Webmail Subscribers:

  1. From your mailbox screen click on the Address Book.
  2. Click the Add button.
  3. Type in or cut/paste the supplied return email address into the Email block; click Save.

Outlook 2003:

  1. From your inbox, select Actions.
  2. Choose Junk Email and click on Options Address Book.
  3. Click the Safe Senders tab. Then, type in or cut/paste the supplied return email address into the block area; click OK.

Outlook 2007:

  1. From your inbox, select a message from the sender you wish to white-list.
  2. Select Actions, then Junk Mail.
  3. Click Add Sender to Safe Senders List.
