Implementing the information below will help ensure your members/clients receive the emails you send using MagnetMail.
- Desktop-level: Have clients/members add your designated email addresses used for e-marketing (e.g., info@commpartners.com) to their safe sender lists.
- Server-level:If you are still having problems, then see below for directions on how to forward information to your e-mail administrator.
Directions to setup your email clients for desktop-level white-listing
Send your return email address to recipients who have desktop-level spam filtering. They will have to add your address and/or domain as a safe sender within their email program (Outlook, Hotmail, AOL, Juno, etc.).
AOL Subscribers:
- From your mailbox screen, select the drop down arrow to the right of Mail Options and then click on Address Book.
- Click the Add button (Add Contact for version 8.0).
- Type in or cut/paste the supplied return email address into the Screen Name block; click Save.
Hotmail Subscribers:
- Select the Options links in the upper right of the screen.
- Click on Junk Email Protection and click on Safe List.
- Type in or cut/paste the supplied return email address into the the box; click Add.
Yahoo Subscribers:
- From your mailbox screen, click on the drop down arrow to the right of the Addresses.
- Select Add Contact.
- Type in or cut/paste the supplied return email address into the the Email box; click Save.
MSN Subscribers:
MSN 8
- Click on Email settings and s elect the Junk Mail link.
- Click on Safe List and choose Add an item to this list.
- Type in or cut/paste the supplied return email address into the the Safe List box; click Add.
MSN 9
- Click on Settings: Email / Junk e-mail.
- Choose the Junk Email Guard link and select Safe List.
- Type in or cut/paste the supplied return email address into the Safe List box; click Add.
Juno/Netzero Subscribers:
- From your mailbox screen, click on the Address Book tab.
- Next to the Lists tab, click the Add New Contact link.
- Type in or cut/paste the supplied return email address into the Email Address block; click Save.
Earthlink Webmail Subscribers:
- From your mailbox screen click on the Address Book.
- Click the Add button.
- Type in or cut/paste the supplied return email address into the Email block; click Save.
Outlook 2003:
- From your inbox, select Actions.
- Choose Junk Email and click on Options Address Book.
- Click the Safe Senders tab. Then, type in or cut/paste the supplied return email address into the block area; click OK.
Outlook 2007:
- From your inbox, select a message from the sender you wish to white-list.
- Select Actions, then Junk Mail.
- Click Add Sender to Safe Senders List.

Directions to setup your email clients for server-level white-listing
Instruct recipients to send this information to their email administrators:
- MagnetMail Email Service Provider: Real Magnet (www.realmagnet.com).
- The sending server's Internet Protocol (IP) is either:
- 66.70.82.40
- 64.106.137.140
- Or, 209.18.70.1 through 209.18.70.254
All of the above IPs are sub-domains of magnetmail.net (mail*.magnetmail.net).
- The return path is:
mmreturn@magnetdev.com
(66.70.25.24).
- If you or a client has a private IP address, contact MagnetMail/Real Magnet customer support:
