The Event Producer is responsible for being a single resource for new and existing clients for multiple lines of CommPartners services.  Services include webinar and webcast logistics, live event moderation and Learning Management System (LMS) administrator.

This position requires the ability to explain technical complexities of our various product features effectively to a broad audience; therefore, strong communication and interpersonal skills are important.  The assignments vary in complexity, requiring conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation skills. Individuals in this position work independently, under general guidelines within established procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on use, configuration, and integration of all CommPartners services and platforms (i.e. Event Center, Elevate, Media Center 2.0, etc.).
  • Project management and support of online events including, but not limited to, client consultation/guidance of planning process, general setup and production of online platforms, registration systems and post-production processes.
  • Facilitate, monitor and provide technical support to attendees/presenters throughout live and recorded online events.
  • Assist with setup, design and operational performance of client(s) Learning Management Systems.
  • Online event moderation, the ability to successfully read scripting of all types of subject matters with accuracy and articulation. And the ability to monitor and deliver questions from online attendees verbally.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to client and attendee questions/inquiries.
  • Ability to travel. (15%-20%)

Required Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-3 years of managing events including but not limited to webinars, conferences, board meetings, trainings or college equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of project management experience
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Web proficient and ability to quickly learn and use multiple online applications in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written), with a pleasant, calm phone demeanor.
  • Highly organized, flexible, detailed oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic HTML
  • Association or Non-profit experience a plus but not required
  • 1+ years of LMS experience/management

Working Conditions

  • The ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-moving environment with the expectation to multitask and prioritize multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to spend all day working at a desk using a PC and telephone.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.
  • Some travel required.

The Virtual Event Production Assistant is responsible for being a single resource for the CommPartners Event Team in producing and supporting multiple lines of CommPartners services.  Services include online event production of webinars, live streaming events, pre-recorded courses, live event technical support, Learning Management System (LMS) and online registration system administration.

Individuals in this position work independently and collaboratively, under general guidelines within established procedures.
